Our thesis

Software is becoming dynamic. Hospitality is becoming autonomous.

This may look like another B2B SaaS company. It is not. Three connected beliefs define what we are building and why the opportunity is much larger than another tool for property managers.

01

Traditional B2B SaaS is dying.

Agents are making software dramatically cheaper to produce. When every customer can have tools shaped around its own operation, static, one-size-fits-all software becomes less defensible.

Trellis provides the fixed backbone: identity, permissions, integrations, observability, execution, and a hospitality domain model. Agents grow the vines around it: custom data, business logic, workflows, and interfaces for each operator.

02

Hospitality has diseconomies of scale.

As short-term rental operators grow, coordination expands faster than their portfolios. More properties create more people, exceptions, handoffs, and failure points across a fragmented software stack.

Trellis is the operating layer that gives operators control. Agents coordinate communications, tasks, maintenance, bookings, accounting, pricing, and guest experience across the entire operation.

03

Marketplaces will operate supply.

The marketplace era began by matching supply and demand. The next generation will operate the supply itself: not only helping a guest find a stay, but making that stay run reliably.

Our ambition is to become the operating system for hospitality and, ultimately, the platform connecting operations, inventory, and guests.

“Airbnb built the marketplace. The next era belongs to whoever builds the machine that runs it.”

Want to build the machine?

We are looking for people who see the same shift and want to make it real.
