Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: May 21, 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of personal data associated with Trellis Tech, Inc. ("Trellis", "we", "us", or "our"), including data shared with Trellis through Meta or Facebook products.
This page is also Trellis's Data Deletion Instructions URL for Meta app settings. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of data associated with your Trellis account or Meta/Facebook connection, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request".
Please include:
- The email address associated with your Trellis account, if you have one
- The name of the Trellis workspace or company you use, if applicable
- Whether your request relates to a Meta/Facebook connection, a Trellis account, or both
We may ask for additional information only when needed to verify the account or locate the data covered by your request.
Removing Trellis from Facebook
You can also remove Trellis from your Facebook account through Facebook's settings:
- Log in to Facebook.
- Open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Go to Apps and Websites.
- Find Trellis and choose Remove.
- If Facebook shows an option to request deletion of data shared with Trellis, select that option.
Facebook's settings labels may change over time. If you cannot find Trellis in Apps and Websites, email us using the instructions above.
What We Delete
After we verify the request, we delete or anonymize personal data we control that is associated with your account or Meta/Facebook connection, including:
- Meta or Facebook user identifiers connected to Trellis
- Access tokens and connection records, where applicable
- Profile or contact information received from Meta or Facebook, where applicable
- Trellis user profile data, preferences, and device records we control
What May Be Retained
Some information may be retained when required for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or compliance reasons. Trellis may also retain anonymized or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you.
Trellis provides services to business customers that operate shared workspaces. Some workspace-level records, such as task history, guest communications, audit logs, and operational records, may be controlled by the workspace administrator rather than by an individual user. If your request concerns workspace-owned data, we will help route the request to the appropriate administrator or process it in accordance with our agreement with that customer.
Deletion Timeline
We will review and respond to verified deletion requests within a reasonable time. Personal data covered by the request is deleted or anonymized within 90 days unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, security needs, or our contractual obligations.
Backup copies may remain for a limited period as part of normal backup and disaster recovery processes, but they are not used for active processing and are deleted in accordance with our retention practices.
